is backed by a robust network connection, it can support the

The VITRO™ Network
VITRO™ Data Center is 100% Cisco-powered via fiber connections.
It is the first facility in the Philippines to utilize Cisco’s
Gigabit Switch Routers – a scalable, carrier-class routing
platform that enables to smoothly migrate network infrastructure
to 10 Gbps.
Our network architecture ensures a fully redundant system
promoting a sound and worry-free environment to your business
operations that will help you focus more on your core businesses
and competencies. Our meshed network guarantees no single
point of failure in our connections, thus ensuring complete
and uninterruptible business for your enterprise.
VITRO™ offers a switching capacity of 80 Gbps, scalable to
320 Gbps, with investment protection to help customers meet
growing bandwidth needs in their network while preserving
continuity in the network architecture.
We have various connectivity options, from leased lines,
to frame relay, to IP RAS, to satellite that enables us to
maintain various local and international peerings for unparalleled
reach anywhere in the world. VITRO™ is also a “carrier
neutral” facility.
Data Center Backbone
VITRO™ Data Center's network backbone is supported by
two main access facilities from PLDT. This provides the data
center with the most reliable and the widest point-to-point
access in the Philippines and abroad. VITRO™™
Data Center is a major node of PLDT's broad and robust ATM
and IP networking service. It is also hooked up to PLDT's
premium Internet gateway service.
PLDT Brains
PLDT Brains is PLDT’s superhighway in delivering Wide
Area Network and last mile connectivity through its nationwide
and fully redundant ATM cloud. With PLDT Brains Facilities
housed in VITRO™, the data center ensures faster implementation
as well as the ability to offer diverse network services like
Remote Access Services, PVC on Demand, Shadow PVC and Domestic
Frame Relay Connectivity.
VITRO™ Internet Exchange
VITRO™ Internet Exchange (VIX) is the country’s first
and only high-speed local IP peering platform that facilitates
seamless delivery of bandwidth intensive content to a majority
of carriers and ISPs. Its partnerships with the country’s
leading telecommunications companies and Internet Service
Providers allow massive transfer of IP traffic between carriers
and content providers without compromising speed and latency.

and consistent access latency among its user base.
